Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews with sources, experts, and stakeholders to gather insights and quotes for news stories.
• Attend press conferences, events, and other relevant activities to gather firsthand information and report on key developments.
• Generate original story ideas and pitches that align with our editorial focus and audience interests.
• Collaborate with editors, photographers, and multimedia producers to create compelling multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and photo galleries.
• Adhere to deadlines and ensure timely delivery of news stories while maintaining accuracy, fairness, and impartiality in reporting.
• Stay updated on current events, news trends, and emerging topics to identify newsworthy stories and angles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in journalism, news reporting, or a related field preferred.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent research and investigative abilities to uncover newsworthy stories and angles.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced news environment.
• Proficiency in both English and Bengali languages, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of digital media platforms, social media trends, and multimedia storytelling techniques.
• Passion for journalism, news, and storytelling with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and journalistic integrity.
